Tahiti lime sourcing across six origins

Your sourcing partner across every Tahiti lime producing country

Tahiti Limes connects international buyers to a vetted network of growers, packhouses and cold-storage facilities in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Vietnam and Central America — with defined season windows and certifications available across the network.

Who we are

Tahiti Limes is a sourcing partner, not a single-farm exporter.

Operated by Marktintel Ltd in London, we work with growers, packhouses and cold-storage facilities spread across the São Paulo citrus belt, Veracruz and Michoacán, Santander and Antioquia, the Piura valleys, the Mekong Delta and the Central American Atlantic plains. That spread is what lets us hold a programme steady when one origin has a short season — and it is why certifications here are described as network capabilities we match you to, rather than badges we claim ourselves.

Why work with a sourcing partner

A network absorbs the risk a single supplier passes on to you

Buying direct from one estate means buying its window, its certificate stack and its bad years. A sourcing network gives you every Tahiti lime origin behind one relationship.

Season coverage

Tahiti lime peaks fall at different times in Brazil, Peru and Central America. Multiple origins behind one contract is how a programme runs all year instead of one short window.

Certification match-making

We filter the network down to packhouses already holding the standards your destination market expects, then verify scope and expiry before any volume moves.

Traceability by default

Each lot is tied to a named grower and packhouse. Reallocating volume between origins never means losing the paper trail.

Expertise

What we manage on your behalf

Four operational blocks, run end to end so the buyer holds one relationship instead of four.

Sourcing

Origin and grower matched to your programme, with named suppliers and volumes confirmed against the season window before anything is committed.

Grading and packing

Caliber curves (42–63 mm), quality classes and carton formats agreed up front, then held consistently across the packhouses running your programme.

Documentation

Phytosanitary certificates, residue compliance, FSMA and FSVP records for the United States, and the audit certificates your buyer expects.

Logistics and cold chain

Cold-storage allocation, reefer planning and port coordination — from Santos and Cartagena to Rotterdam, Felixstowe and the US East Coast.

Certified

GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, BRCGS, IFS, PrimusGFS, SMETA and organic equivalencies are available across the network. We match you to a certified facility.

How matching works

Cold chain and logistics

Shipping & logistics

Built for how Tahiti limes actually move

Tahiti limes ship almost exclusively by refrigerated sea freight for standing commercial programmes, with air freight reserved for urgent or premium spot orders. Shipping mode, port of origin and transit time are factored into every sourcing match.

Sea freight (reefer)

The standard for commercial volumes. Reefer containers hold temperature-controlled conditions across multi-week transit — the backbone of standing import programmes into the EU, UK and North America.

Air freight

Reserved for shorter shelf-life needs, urgent orders or routes without efficient reefer service. Typically used for spot and premium orders rather than standing volume programmes.
